This case arises out of a challenge to an order of the Board of Parole and Post-Prison Supervision (the Board) that advanced an inmate's scheduled parole release date. The order effectively prevented the inmate's discharge from prison under the statutory "good-time" scheme. The inmate objected to the order and sought judicial review.
