This appeal requires us to address the question of whether charges of possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, N.J.S.A. 2C:39-4d, and unlawful possession of a weapon, N.J.S.A. 2C:39-5d, require the jury to find that a weapon introduced into evidence at trial is the specific weapon used in the crimes charged, which in this case included a robbery.
