OPINION

STOVER, Justice.

Relator Dean Johnson ("Johnson") brought this original habeas corpus proceeding after a district judge held him in contempt for failing to obey a court order that directed him to produce certain documents. The contempt judgment ordered a three day confinement in the county jail and a fine of $500. After the initial three day period, Johnson's confinement was to continue until he produced the documents.
