Following a jury trial in this medical malpractice action, a verdict was returned wherein it was determined that the defendant had breached the applicable standard of care in delivering plaintiffs baby. The jury assessed fault 51 percent to the defendant and 49 percent to "Any other person," and awarded $500,000 in damages to the plaintiffs in their capacity as representatives of their minor child.
