Defendant Rudy Garcia has appealed from his conviction for conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine, as charged, in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 846. The basis of his appeal is the overruling by the district court of his motion to suppress any statement made by him, or evidence seized from him, as a consequence of his encounter with law enforcement officers in the dead of night in April of 1997...
