In an adjudication order entered on November 3, 1997, the separate juvenile court of Lancaster County concluded that Andre W. was a child as defined by Neb.Rev.Stat. § 43-247(2) (Supp.1997), because he had knowingly or intentionally possessed a controlled substance, crack cocaine, in violation of Neb.Rev.Stat. § 28-416(3) (Reissue 1995).
