On May 7, 1997, a grand jury returned a two-count indictment in the District of New Mexico charging Defendant Dawson Johnson with one count of coercion and enticement of a minor, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 2422(b), and interstate travel for the purpose of engaging in sexual acts with a minor, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 2423(b).
