COMPTON, Justice.

In this chancery suit, we consider whether four promissory notes are estate assets or whether the notes passed to the decedent's daughter, individually, by right of survivorship.

Thomas J. Stafford, a widower, died intestate in 1984, survived by his only children, a son, appellee Thomas L. Stafford, and a daughter, appellant June S. Zink. In 1985, the daughter qualified as administrator of the decedent's estate.
