Pending are cross-motions for summary judgment requesting a determination of the following legal question: are the testamentary powers of appointment contained in certain spendthrift trusts of which petitioner is the lifetime income beneficiary "general as to appointees", that is, may petitioner, by her Last Will and Testament, appoint the principal and any undistributed income of those trusts to her...
