On February 27, 1995, Bernard E. Regan and his grandson, Timothy R. Regan, were traveling on La. Highway 395 when their vehicle was struck by a fertilizer spreader being operated by Larris Daigle ("Daigle"), an employee of R & M Spreader. Bernard E. Regan was killed and Timothy R.
