The issue in this case is whether Florida's qualified journalist's privilege statute, section 90.5015(2), Florida Statutes (Supp. 1998), bars discovery and production of two documents given to the News-Journal by Carson, during his interview by the News-Journal's reporters and employees when he was running for the office of county judge.
