BUMGARDNER, Judge.

James C. McCulloch appeals his conviction of first degree murder of his wife. He argues that the trial court erred (1) in denying his request for a second expert to evaluate his sanity at the time of the offense, and (2) in not permitting lay witness testimony about his sanity at the time of the offense. Concluding that the trial court did not err, we affirm.
