Plaintiffs Diane Thornton (the daughter of James Robert Raab, deceased) and Dorothy Raab (Raab's widow and the representative of his estate) have brought this lawsuit in federal court claiming that Raab died while a pre-trial detainee in the Montgomery City Jail because jail staff failed to supervise him properly.
