[¶ 1] Joseph Lux appeals from a judgment entered in the Superior Court (Cumberland County, Crowley, J.) following a bench trial convicting him of possession of a firearm by a felon (Class C), 15 M.R.S.A. § 393 (1980 & Supp.1998).
