AMIN v. RICE

No. 98-03712.

735 So.2d 550 (1999)

John AMIN a/k/a John Bailey, Petitioner, v. Everett RICE, As Sheriff of Pinellas County, Florida, Respondent.

District Court of Appeal of Florida, Second District.

May 28, 1999.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

John Amin a/k/a John Bailey, Pro Se.

Robert A. Butterworth, Attorney General, Tallahassee, and Scott A. Browne, Assistant Attorney General, Tampa, for Appellee.

PER CURIAM.

John Amin's petition for writ of mandamus requests action by the trial court on a civil complaint, or the provision of an order of dismissal, if entered, which he claims he never received. The attorney general's office has provided a copy of the order of dismissal for lack of prosecution dated April 9, 1996, to Amin and to this court.

Accordingly, Amin's petition is moot and is therefore dismissed.
