Defendant Richard Mattarolo appeals his conviction and sentence for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and for possession of a listed precursor chemical. The principal issue is the validity of the defendant's 1996 traffic stop and the scope of the search that followed which led to his arrest and conviction.
