A woman who was the subject of a photograph first published in a book in Florida in 1988 later sued the photographer and the publisher in 1995 for damages for unauthorized publication.1 The trial judge denied a summary judgment on the statute of limitations, and the case proceeded to trial, resulting in a jury verdict awarding her damages on her claims.2
