Defendant Ronald Couture appeals his second degree murder conviction after a jury trial. Defendant contends that his conviction should be reversed because the trial court erred by: (1) denying his motions for judgment of acquittal and for a new trial, (2) admitting evidence of a drop of human blood on his boot in violation of the Fourth Amendment and V.R.E. 403, and (3) failing to describe the elements of murder and the lesser included offenses in the jury...
