In this Federal Employers' Liability Act (F.E.L.A.), 45 U.S.C. 51, et seq. (1994), action, defendant, National Railroad Passenger Corporation (Amtrak), appeals the judgment entered on a jury verdict finding it liable and awarding damages for the injury of one of its employees, plaintiff, John N.
