I. INTRODUCTION:

Defendant Neatherlin was arrested near Eureka, Montana within three miles of the Canadian border and charged with one count of possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell and one count of possession of a firearm in drug trafficking. Neatherlin moves to suppress all evidence seized from him as well as statements he made during his arrest and the search of his vehicle on February 23, 1999...
