We granted this appeal primarily to determine whether hospitals are entitled to qualified immunity from liability for damages under the Tennessee Peer Review Law, Tenn.Code Ann. § 63-6-219 (1997). Other issues include whether there was a genuine issue of material fact as to whether the hospital's actions were in good faith and without malice and on the basis of facts reasonably known or reasonably believed to exist and whether...
