The dispute in this case arises from a breach of contract claim. Richmond Printing (Richmond) sued the Port of Houston Authority (the Authority) alleging that the Authority wrongfully canceled the contract. The Authority filed a motion for summary judgment asserting that the contract was void and legally unenforceable. Richmond replied to the Authority's motion and filed a writ of mandamus requesting the trial court...
