Petitioner commenced this proceeding against respondent alleging that he had sexually abused his daughter (hereinafter the child) and several of her friends. A temporary order of protection was issued on May 20, 1996 preventing respondent from having any contact with his three children after he was indicted for 14 counts of sexual abuse and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
