A jury found Kirk J. Lewitzke guilty of possessing six firearms after having been convicted of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(9). The district court ordered him to serve a prison term of fifteen months. Lewitzke appeals, contending that section 922(g)(9) irrationally bars persons convicted of domestic violence misdemeanors from possessing firearms, in violation of equal protection...
