Defendant was convicted of aggravated manslaughter (N.J.S.A. 2C:11-4a) and possession of a handgun without a permit (N.J.S.A. 2C:39-5b). We affirmed defendant's convictions in an unreported opinion. Defendant then petitioned for post-conviction relief, contending that the prosecutor had concealed evidence of the victim's prior criminal conviction for murder.
