The plaintiff-appellant State of Hawai`i (the prosecution) appeals from the findings and order granting the defendant-appellee Darrell Gella's motion to suppress statements, filed by the first circuit court on March 19, 1999. The prosecution alleges one point of error on appeal, namely, that the circuit court erred in granting Gella's motion to suppress. Because we agree with the prosecution, we vacate the circuit court's order...
