This case is before this Court upon appeal of a final order of the Circuit Court of Kanawha County entered on January 22, 1998. Pursuant to that order, the circuit court sentenced the appellant, Dewaine C. King, to life without mercy for kidnapping and a term of 84 years for aggravated robbery.
