Following his indictment on charges of driving while intoxicated as a felony and leaving the scene of an incident without reporting, defendant moved to suppress all evidence and statements based upon the claim that they were the fruit of an unlawful arrest. County Court denied the motion and defendant entered a plea of guilty to the driving while intoxicated charge in satisfaction of the indictment. He was sentenced to one year in the Ulster County Jail...
