In August 1991, Supreme Court appointed petitioners as co-conservators of the person and property of Max Rubenstein (hereinafter Rubenstein); petitioner Beatrice Rubenstein was Rubenstein's spouse and petitioner Arthur Felix was his stepson. The order also directed the coconservators to file a bond or undertaking in the amount of $100,000.
