Appellant was charged by indictment with possessing cocaine. In a separate indictment, appellant was charged with taking or attempting to take a weapon from a peace officer with the intent to harm the officer. In a consolidated trial, the jury was not able to reach a verdict in the possession of cocaine case, and the trial court granted a mistrial.
