The defendant was indicted on 21 February 1994 for two counts of first-degree murder, one count of crime against nature, and two counts of second-degree sexual offense. Prior to trial, the prosecutor indicated she was not going to proceed on the charge of crime against nature and entered a dismissal on 2 August 1995. Defendant was tried capitally at the 10 July 1995 Criminal Session of Superior Court, Wake County. On 14 July 1995, defendant pled guilty...
