Laura Walters appeals an order of the circuit court directing her to pay $24,000 in restitution to Mark Olivas for injuries he sustained as a result of an accident Walters caused by operating her automobile while intoxicated. Walters argues that Olivas is not entitled to restitution because he accepted a $25,000 payment and agreed to release all claims against her, prior to the restitution hearing.
