STATEMENT OF CASE

On October 17, 1996, the defendant, Mark A. Jenkins, was indicted for the first degree murder of Rivet Hedderel. The bill of information alleged that the murder occurred during the perpetration or attempted perpetration of an armed robbery. The defendant entered a plea of not guilty at his arraignment on October 21, 1996. The trial court denied the defendant's motion to suppress identification on January 24, 1997...
