Defendant Clifton Drummer was charged by bill of information on March 10, 1998 with possession of cocaine, a violation of La. R.S. 40:967(C)(2). Defendant pleaded not guilty at his March 27, 1998 arraignment. The trial court found probable cause and denied defendant's motion to suppress the evidence.
