Appellants,1 six closely held corporations involved in the paper distribution industry, sued respondent Alfred C. Reger (Reger), their former chief executive officer, on a number of counts, including breach of contract and breach of fiduciary duty. Reger answered and counterclaimed, alleging appellants owed him money under the terms of certain written agreements and for work performed in 1987 and 1988...
