Defendant, Elaine Meneses, was charged by bill of information with aggravated battery, a violation of La.R.S. 14:34. She pled not guilty. Defendant waived her right to a trial by jury. After the bench trial, the judge found defendant guilty as charged and ordered a pre-sentence investigation report.
