Defendant Vernon Crawford appeals from a district court judgment denying his motion to dismiss three counts of criminal trespass. Defendant argues that the State was barred from prosecuting him for trespass after previous charges for burglary based on the same alleged conduct were dismissed with prejudice pursuant to the Interstate Agreement on Detainers (IAD).
