In November 1995, a jury found that defendant Kwame Jamal Teague—along with Edward Lemons and Larry Leggett—kidnapped, robbed, and murdered Margaret Strickland and Bobby Stroud. The trial court sentenced the defendant to two life terms for the first-degree-murder convictions, two terms of fourteen years for the first-degree-kidnapping convictions, and two terms of twelve years for the armed-robbery convictions—all sentences to run...
