Approximately one year after suffering injuries in an automobile accident, Corvilla, Inc. terminated Karen Gorbitz from her position as an accounting manager at Corvilla because, according to her employer, she had a poor attitude, was "negative and disruptive," and committed several "acts of outright insubordination."
