ZIMMER, J.

Defendant Michael Ron Runyan appeals his conviction and sentence of first-degree murder in violation of Iowa Code sections 707.1 and 707.2 (1997). He contends the trial court erred in limiting his cross-examination of former co-defendant and State's witness Luke Abrams regarding the extent of Abrams' plea agreement with the State. We affirm.
