Following a hearing petitioner, a prison inmate, was found guilty of violating the prison disciplinary rules that prohibit inmates from refusing a direct order, possessing a weapon and failing to comply with frisk or search procedures. Petitioner ultimately commenced this CPLR article 78 proceeding challenging the determination of guilt. Supreme Court dismissed the petition, except to the extent of reducing the penalty imposed.
