GOTHARD, Judge.

The defendant, Sterling Mayer, Jr., was convicted of attempted simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling, in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:27:62.2, and he was sentenced to six years imprisonment at hard labor, without benefit of parole, probation or suspension of sentence. Following sentencing, the defendant was adjudicated a quadruple felony offender and he received an enhanced sentence of ten years imprisonment at hard labor. The defendant now appeals...
