We are confronted with a single dispositive issue in this case: Whether section 5-5-7 of the Unified Code of Corrections (Corrections Code) (730 ILCS 5/5-5-7 (West 1994)) immunizes a municipality and its employee from liability for a court-ordered community service participant's injuries resulting from that employee's negligence.
