Plaintiff was injured in June 1994 while engaged in a construction and renovation project at the waste treatment plant owned by defendant City of Cortland and while in the employ of third-party defendant Structural Associates, Inc., the general contractor. As part of the project, Structural had hired defendant Reith's Hole Drilling Service, Inc. to drill four wells and install temporary outer casings therein to enable Structural to dewater the new aeration...
