On March 31, 1997, plaintiffs filed this lawsuit against Edward Keiser and Gerald, Inc. Plaintiffs asserted that Keiser conspired with Michael Schwarzmann, a relative of the individual plaintiffs, to defraud plaintiffs of substantial money.
