The defendant, Jason Louis Milto, was charged by bill of information with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon in violation of Louisiana Revised Statutes 14:95.1. After trial by jury, he was found guilty as charged. He was sentenced to serve ten years of imprisonment at hard labor, to run consecutively to his sentence for his parole violation.
