KENNETH J. MEYERS, Bankruptcy Judge.
At issue in this case is whether casualty insurance proceeds paid post-petition to the debtor, Ray Erwin Simpson, as a result of pre-petition damage to his vehicle may be claimed as exempt under the Illinois motor vehicle exemption provision, which exempts "[a] debtor's interest, not to exceed $1,200 in value, in any one motor vehicle." 735 Ill.Comp.Stat. 5/12-1001(c).
