We hold that the family court may not adjudicate a minor in criminal contempt for violating a court order unless it had previously informed the minor of the nature of a contempt of court charge and the consequences of being found in contempt. Minor-Appellant Jane Doe (Doe) was not so informed by the family court of the first circuit (the court)1 in this case, and therefore, should not have been adjudged...
