Both defendants separately filed motions to suppress evidence seized; these two motions were consolidated and denied by the trial judge. Thereafter, defendant Israel Padilla entered a plea of guilty to each count of a five-count indictment and defendant Edward Feliciano entered a plea of guilty to count three of that same Somerset County indictment, but as amended prior to the entry of his plea.
