¶ 1 This is an appeal from an order granting the summary judgment motion of Appellees, Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Penn Health Systems, in an action for negligence and lack of informed consent.

¶ 2 At the age of two, Appellant, now 36, was diagnosed with Ollier's disease, a rare disorder of the skeletal system which produces multiple benign cartilaginous lesions, leaving the bones brittle and susceptible to breakage...
